A Tiny Tribe was founded in 2008 by Kyle Tress and Chris Nurre, two United States National Skeleton Team athletes with a shared passion for Apple products.
We are focused on one thing: building beautiful, intuitive apps for iOS devices. Our bestselling app is Moodboard, which has been featured by Apple as a ‘What’s Hot’ app, and is currently a top 100 Photography app in several countries around the world.
A Tiny Tribe began as a web development firm, until the launch of the iPhone App Store changed the direction of our company forever. We quickly launched several notable titles including Gridlocked: Traffic Control (featured by Apple in May 2008) and Party Cards.
With the debut of the iPad in 2010, we devoted our full attention to Moodboard, an app for creating mood and inspirations boards. While we had intended to release this app on the Mac, the revolutionary form factor of the iPad immediately grabbed our attention. Since launch, we have received near universal praise for the design and user experience of the app.
Today we pride ourselves on being a full-service mobile app studio, with specialization in the strategy, marketing, design, and development of iOS apps. Have an idea? Contact us to get started today.
